Had a guy from Oklahoma send me a batch of this stuff ..Identical to pic..he claims it is gray kay county...isn't florence county aka kay county?...just asking... stuff knapped better than the pink ...but it was cooked...gut

Kay county is florence type A. Florence type C  can be found close geographically to type A. Some type C can knap rather well. There are I believe, A B C and D types of florence. Type A is generally found in Kay county in Oklahoma thus the name "Kay county chert".There is a type of florence A that is yellow in color that rivals all types IMO. Kevin I think I have some left I'll try to find it and set it aside for you.
