Clint is bringing Venison steaks (I'm thinking southern fried V. steaks for breakfast), and potatoes and corn for the boil Saturday night.
Gutshot is bringing crappie if fishing is good in AL. Fried crappie sound good with the boil to me.
Selfbow Joe is bringing ground venison for the lasagna Friday night.
stixnstones is bring venison chili for lunch Saturday
Bill is cooking a cobbler that I think would top off the boil Saturday very nicely.

what we need for meals:
Friday night:
French bread
salad

Saturday:
Breakfast with Clint's country fried venison steaks
I'll cook the breakfast, but I need an assistant or 2
Pillsbury frozen biscuits
Eggs, maybe
A bag or 2 of frozen hashbrowns
3 pack of southern style powder gravy mix

Dinner boil:
5 lbs. of onions cut into 1/8 wedges
3 lbs. of crab meat
5  4 lbs. of shrimp and/or crawfish ( in the shell is fine)
5  4 lbs. of sausage in any combination smoked sausage, kielbasa or andouille sausage.

I'll bring a pound of shrimp and a pound of sausage for the boil ....along with the cobbler and will help in the kitchen with breakfast...cooking eggs? or whatever the chef needs.

Bill, that is awesome.  I've been playing around with braising meat in my Fry Daddy.  I brown it off in the deep fryer, then cook it off in the oven.  It's been very tender and yummy.  So, that's my plan for the Country Fried Venison steaks.  If you man the fryers. I can get the rest of breakfast prepped and started.  With luck everything should come out around the same time and maximum total time from start to finish of less than hour.
