Made this one from a biface I made from the rock the preacher gave me. This makes number three so far out of that rock and I still have a biface and a couple flakes to work.

Outbackbob48:
Always liked the looks of a healed fracture, a little pucker factor while percussion thinning ??? :o :D Bob

JW_Halverson:
As a non-knapper, I always wonder if you guys know some arcane black magic when you turn out one of these pieces with a healed fracture.  That's just beautiful, stained glass cathedral kind of beautiful!

Stringman:
Love it, man! I've worked only a couple healed over like this and it amazes every time. Very nice indeed!

JEB:
I have worked a few healed rocks myself. I posted a few blades on here and one had what I thought was a healed crack. It was a chunk of Jafar Jasper.  Good colors in it and I saw the crack but went at it anyway. Low and behold right at the very end of working on it and when I was trying to clean up the edges it broke where the so-called healed crack was.  I took the liberty to super glue it back together.

Probably give it to one of the grandkids so he can put it on the end of a stick.
