Waiting for something to Happen

Hawkdancer:
Needs a sign: " who ever finds me kin have my Hawken and possibles. Jest hope it ain't no Injun"  (Hatchet Jack 's will from "Jeremiah Johnson" -more or less). :).  Some more snow and ice would help, too. Are we having fun yet?

Buffalogobbler:
One of my favorite lines from my favorite movie!

Last Tuesday was the last day of deer hunting in N.Y., I sat there for 4 hours :-[ and saw nothing.

PEARL DRUMS:
Sweet rifle, Kevin! Great opportunity in the snow, can't beat that.

BrianS:
Great picture Kevin. I've been there many times. You really do look like "Hatchet Jack". I went out for a walk in the woods today, now that deer season is over. I walked up on two bedded does (where were they last week with the muzzleloader?), tracks all over the place (some walking within a few feet of the lean to). The Lean to suffered some damage to the roof from all of the heavy snow. Grandson Michael and I will need to rebuild it come spring. Calling for more lake effect snow later this week. Looking forward to doing some snowshoeing.
Take care,
Brian

I've always been a bit touched in the Head, but I like Hunting in those conditions ! Bob
