This is not Kinley rock. It was a wide flake off a central texas tab. The material just under the cortex is the best and usually most colorfull. This flake was all good stuff from right under it.
I've seen a flake core of this stuff that looked like a massive biface, but they would just remove flakes from near the surface to use and discard the biface core.
