TN Classic raffle table items 2017
« on: January 30, 2017, 03:05:33 pm »
I figured it's that time of year, so we need to start posting our projects to get the blood goin. The idea being that folks from across the country have started adding tickets to buckets even if they don't attend the classic. I'm sure there are a number of you who are in the middle of your project but not yet finished, so as they are completed, add them here to keep things consolidated.

For the uninitiated, Pappy hosts the classic every year near Clarksville TN and the raffle table is our way of saying thanks for the good times and the use of his grounds. The proceeds go back into camp (Pappy might wanna elaborate more on this) and every year the contributions are more and more mind blowing. I learned long ago to be intentional with my giving and this is a good example. If I wait till the last minute, I tend to throw something together with little or no effort. If I plan it far ahead the effect is typically far more pleasant.

If you see something(s) you like and want to put a ticket on it, you will need to contact Pappy to set that up. I'll start with mine.

Man  Scott, that is outstanding, yep that will cost me a few bucks. ;) [Well Miss Joanie]  ;) she has all the money . ;) Thanks it is very much appreciated, although I get to use the place more than most I pride myself that anytime I am there yall are welcome so the raffle really is a big help for me to be able to keep it up. Not sure the cost but with out your help it would be much more taxing on me. I feel very sure I would still do it ,just because I love it and it is a very big part of my life , but as I said all the generosity yall show really helps. I have been around a lot of different folks over the years and I will attest that this bunch I hang with is the most giving/caring bunch I have ever seen anywhere. Thanks.

GregB and Allen just finished a new knife for the table, Greg still likes the sheath but the knife is beautiful.

Got a bow for the table, the one on the right.  :) Nancy is getting excited, she always love coming down and seeing you folks and running the table. She is always amazed at the talent she sees there. :) Of course Miss Joanie is getting excited also, she love the visiting and Hugs but say she couldn't do it without Nancy to help. :)
