Bluebell sap adhesive?
Lucasade:
The claim about Neolithic fletching adhesive was also made by an ancient reenactor who has a site called Ancient Crafts. He's been employed by English Heritage to work at Stonehenge so he may even know what he's talkking about.
I've done some more digging and found this: findonvillage.org/uploads/findon_news_feb17.pdf. On page 18 it says there was a Mesolithic arrowhead found near Graffham, West Sussex that had bluebell adhesive on it. Sadly not a Neolithic fletching, but at least shows they were using it on arrows.

They certainly have :) With chemical analysis, gas chromatography and plenty more.

It's amazing what students are prepared to do to get a research grant... ;D
