Parker Dagger
Pat B:
Scott, didn't you leave before this one was completed? Watching James call his shots and work towards them will take you along, one step at a time.
I've been watching James knap for many year. Most of the shoots I've gone to over the years James was there knapping. He is very generous with his knowledge and techniques and seems to love showing others how to do it.
Stringman:
I got to watch the first half, but didn't get to watch him finish pressure flaking. Good stuff indeed!
1442:
Really cool dagger for sure.
Parnell:
Same thing happened to me Scott. Saw the first half and then called it a night. Turned out beautiful, just too bad he didn't finish it! ;D
I'm going to try to do more to pursue abo knapping going forward.
Dakota Kid:
That hilariously crazy hillbilly fellow that made us play flint knapping roulette for 3 hours is a notoriously famous master knapper. :o :o :o
I wouldn't have guessed. Heck of a nice guy, and quite a comical character to boot.
I should have come back down to the pit after I got the family tucked in, but the warm dry sleeping bag proved irresistible. It would have been neat to see him knap. Oh well, next year I suppose.
