Crush of summer season has passed so looking to start breaking rock again. I'm headed to Cedar Rapids, IA for long weekend visiting get my folks. Any public places there to gather rock?

So I've found one small crumbly piece of chert from Palisades-Kepler and one from Ennis County park.  Gonna call the quarry on other side of river tomorrow to see what they have to say.
