South Dakota knap in

(1/3) > >>

JEB:
Well it was sort of a knap in. Except I was the only one there. lol  Went to South Dakota for 3 weeks to take one of our grandson to a Christian youth camp so my wife and I stayed out there. I mean how many times can you go to Mt. Rushmore. Worked on these while in the camp ground.

JEB:
The blade is going  into a Cholla handle and go to be a gift to a gal out there that is going thru a rough time.

bjrogg:
Looks like some nice stuff got turned out at that knap-in Jeb. Love that blade really sweet. Is that some of that rainbow obsidian? I sure hope it can help put a smile on that ladies face, brighten up her day and maybe take the edge off some hard times.

JEB:
It is tri flo obsidian. You just can't see the three colors in the photo.

We met the woman on a artifact web site and she invited out to her place.  She had one heck of a collection of Indian artifacts.  BUT going thru an ugly divorce and I thought a knife and stand would cheer her up a bit.

bjrogg:
I just made one from a slab of tri. flow you gave me. It's really nice stuff to work and looks beautiful. I gotta get some pictures and post it. I call it shark bite. It looks just like a shark ready to bite something.
