View from the stand 2017

I thought I would start a post for all of us to post pictures from our stands/blinds this hunting season.
Today was our opening day of bow season. I went to a stand close to the house. It's a pinch point between my house and my sisters house/goat pen. I saw 9 does and fawns in the first hour but never got a shot. My stand set up is not good. I'm on the downhill side of the road crossing. I'm looking the deer eye to eye level at 20 yards. Not good! I need to move to the other side of the road and get above them. It was nice to sit in the woods and relax. Maybe I'll have better luck tonight.

Pat, that was from a hang on stand 15' up a hackberry tree. I didn't make any ground blinds this year.

This evening I went to a stand that's below a small pond in a valley. It's been very dry lately. I thought I might catch one going for a drink.
