Morgan, Folks on the "Around the Campfire" board told me they taste just like lobster if you cut um into cubes, boil, then dip in butter. I didn't believe it until I tried it. Darn they were right!
The small ones are great for eating, and the big ones for backing.
Hawk, never heard that, but maybe the saltwater variety is a warm water fish? I've never fished for um here in the winter, but maybe they stop hittin when the weather gets cold.
