Joe, I glad you're going to be here to do my annual property evaluation. I'm really considering going with native warm season grasses for the front half of the farm. Are there things I need to do before March to get that project going?

Go to NRCS/FSA and tell them you are interested in EQIP eligibility paperwork. It's where you had to sign for tobacco leases etc. back in the day. EQIP is where the cost-share is for native grasses. It's off the bypass about the second or third light on left behind a BP. Farm number/tract is needed for federal cost share.
