How to build a frame to stretch deer, bear hides?

BJ, I got this from one idea from one of our local Braintanner PA Skinner. He does big volume so everything is for speed, take a 3/8 speedbore spade bit and sharpen like single bevel broadhead  put a notch or hole on end of shaft, if ya got and old partial roll of nylon bailing twine  thread your needle speed bore and  just lace your hide in. check out Paskinner video he laces one up in 5 minutes, I can' even come close, ED"s got it right about 30 ft' pcs. Istart at the head then the bottom and pull your 4 corners out. Takes some practice to get them nice and square, like everything a little learning curve. I made my frames out of 2x4s also keep your bottom 2x4 up 6 " or so makes it easy to get your string under instead of lifting frame or propping up. Check out that video, It is done on a half dry hide but still is pretty neat. He finish dry on a frame. works all winter long with wood stove and fans to help dry thinks quicker. Bob

Thanks Hawkdancer and Ed. I'm thinking I have some salvaged 2x6 I can use. I think I'm coming up with a plan.
If I'm right you guys are all lacing them on the frame? Kinda like lacing your shoes?
Ed winter is my fur handling time. Otherwise I don't have the time. My brothers trapped when they were younger so we hang our fur in the farm shop. It's nice I have heat and hot - cold water. I also have a forklift. Everyone who handles fur should have a forklft.lol  I am a little concerned about taking up to much space and need to be able to clean up my mess.
Thanks

BJ, I just typed in the search box and came up. "5 min video of Loren Stallsmith framing a hide". Let me know if it comes up for ya. Bob

Pappy:
BJ mine look just like Ed's, made from Red Cedar poles, I made several different sizes for bigger and smaller hides. :)
