Ladder stand hauler

<< < (2/3) > >>

JEB:
Nice job Clint.  I have a Polaris Ranger that I use and have two tree stand hauler assistants that help break down our ladder stands so we can haul 4 or 5 out at a  time. The assistants are 12 and 15.

osage outlaw:
We replaced the pins on our stands with bolts.  We store them in one piece.

Ed, I got that a few weeks ago.  I've been doing some repairs and tune up work on it.

JEB:
I tossed the pins and use a long ratchet strap from top step to the bottom step. Almost eliminates any noise of metal on metal at the joints. I also have a covered trailer  I store the stands and 3 D targets in. Left one out one year and the ice split metal.

Hawkdancer:
Nice rack, looks like you may be able to make extenders by adding diagonal braces front and back.  I don't climb tall ladders any more, and only use my trailer rack for the rain fly pole and the one pole upright.  A short cross beam would allow for staves as well.

osage outlaw:
I won't be using it for staves.  I'm just about done making a log loading trailer.  I'll use it to bring the logs to my splitting stand at the house.
