Round off edges

Do you round off the edges of you'r bow like you would a board bow  ???

on a stave bow where you follow one growth ring its not such a big concern. you might round them off just a lil bit so theyre not sharp.

I always take a pocket knife held at around 90 degrees (like a scraper) and round the edges. It looks better, and more importantly, helps keep splinters from popping up on the edges.

Yes. I think a large part of bowmaking involves changing evrything from ugly and squarey, to roundey and beautiful.

Yes. Most if not all of the edges are unnecessary weight. You can remove it by rounding with no effect on the tiller or draw weight.    Pat

Just lightly,enough to get the sharp edge off,belly and back,belly a little more. :)

All the time. I round the back more than the belly and use sandpaper down to fine grit, on the edges not the back
