knife finishing

I have had a interest in making knives for some time. At the present time I do not have the skills to make a knife from scratch so I did some knife finishing or assembly. I always admired nice handcrafted knives but boy do I have a new respect for what it takes to get the finish and fit work right. I recently finished up these using blade blanks. My fit and finish work has a long way to go but it was a fun project and with each one I got things to fit a little better.

Brian, check out khalvorsons how to on the forge page . It is a very detailed, easy to follow build from a file that you can do with minimal tools
