Not quite spring yet.

I'm with you Pearl.  This fat yankee would rather have cool or even cold over hot.  We got into the 70's couple of weeks ago and people thought spring was here. NOT YET.  I do like spring and fall but, could do with the heat of summer.  Have a good one.

Nice weather vane Ed. We can get snow all the way to May around here. Had about six inches this morning that came down soft and fluffy. It usually snows on our sugar beets after we plant them. We always say to grow really good beets they have to get snowed on after planning in spring and before harvesting in fall.

The weather here's been perfect for collecting sap, 40s during the day, 20s at night. The evaporator's gonna get a workout this weekend for sure.

Gonna get knapping soon!

And the turkeys were out strutting, coyotes in all the fields and the elk were down licking salt off the highway!

Pictures through the work truck window so they’re not the best.

That's Gods' country that's for sure.Nice pics.
I don't mind winter yet too much really. It's Robin here who is always talking about warm and sunshine etc.I know I can't quite take the heat like I used to and the cold don't bother me like I said.
A good snowfall on newly planted oats is a plus nitrogen wise here too in southern Iowa.
People on the northeast coast are getting it again.
