be where it's below freezing daily and 10" plus on the ground.
Then hunt northward with the geese in a week or so.
Dancer, that's what I always said about Yellowstone.

Don, it's 12 deg this morning and most of the geese and ducks are in the rivers , lakes and ponds still froze up. Been getting up to the thirty each day. supposed to be 50 by the weekend so spring is a comin I hope. Total snow for the season so far is 187" and they are hoping to get to 200 by the first day of spring. Hope you don't get to much wind while chasing your geese and have a good hunt, Bob :-M :-M

Zuma, hope you have heat in the blind, coffee in the thermos, heap plenty shotgun shells, and more snow geese down than you can carry! And a sore shoulder from shooting so much >:D:-M :-M :OK. If you get too many, send a bunch my way! Wings included, lol! We don't have many out here yet and no snow to slow them down this year :(. Heck, I'd even drive back to Iowa to pick them up! >:D Have a great hunt! I understand there are some mighty fine hams produced in Iowa, if you can find them. Sort of a secret!
