Stoner, I thought that was rootbeer myself, but I got it from Dollar Creek (aka VV Turner), and he said he thinks it is Knife River from North Dakota. The only difference I can see is that the Knife River is a little redder and maybe slightly more translucent. It was easy chipping, but may be a little harder to break.

Edit to correct: VV told me that the smaller brown point is rootbeer, but the bigger one is Knife River.
