Rules for Mojam Broadhead shoot

<< < (4/5) > >>

Mo_coon-catcher:
The main bow I like to shoot is tillered out to 27” but I only pull it to 26”. Would it be measured at the 26”mark and have my arrows (32” left full length) marked there to be sure if I pull passed or not? It won’t be any record book shooter but I’d like to shoot it there for you for more data to be collected. I just weighed it at my 26” draw and it still pulls 65# and gets a 625g arrow going about 145fps with my shooting. So not that great, but it’s a quiet bow that could still be used for data.
With the arrow, I’ve got a spoil of lead wire for fly tying, could it be wrapped on the arrow by the nock to up te weight to meet the 10gpp requirement?

Thanks,
Kyle

Badger:
Kyle, if someone is not going for any of the records we could just put a piece of tape on your arrow and watch you shoot it to verify you didn't draw past the tape. If a record is involved the right length arrow would be needed.

sleek:
What day is the shoot to be held? Im gonna want time to make a bow if i can.

Badger:
Sleek, the shooting line will be opened up several times a day, every day.

Onebowonder:
What about Siyahs?  The rules mentioned tip overlays, but I saw nothing on siyahs...
