I was just curious about japanese/amur honeysuckle as an arrowwood.

I have Bush Honeysuckle in my yard and I wasn't impressed enough with it to make arrows from it. Its very light and probably break way too easy. It looks extremely similar.

Bush honeysuckle is amur or Japanese honeysuckle. It's pretty tough stuff. Hell on a chainsaw but I think it's potential for bows AND arrers should be exploited more. Stuff too tuff to cut usaully does!

I got some honeysuckle shafts from Buckeye Guy in a trade last year at Marshall. I have not fletched them up yet, but they seem like nice, tough shafts. Not sure what type of honeysuckle they are though.
