Mounting stone points

			yeah lil deeper is better..make sure it is trued...the transition from stone to wood has to be slicker than owl poop... or it will basically bounce off target..found that out the hard way..lol..

          I think you are good there...Just need to mount it correctly...As others have said watch the transition from wood to point...The only thing I have that's above the transition line on the side profile is a sinew wrap which I try to flatten while its wet...
           Pine pitch is natures hot melt and a great filler or shock absorber between the point and the wood...I try to blend the wood into the point with sand paper...

			It made a great looking arrow but I can't use it for anything. I don't hunt so I've got this perfectly good arrow that I could be shooting if it had a field point on it. I guess some people have bigger problems though ;D
