Peacock fletched arrows

They seem to be thicker but the stiffness seems the same so maybe not so good for flight arrows. The turkey feathers I compared them with are white domestic turkeys. They may nave thinner vanes. The quill seems a lot bigger and more tapered but the ones I got were from the one wing that they clipped so it couldn't fly. I also don't know how old the feathers were. Like had they extended fully before the clipped them.
