That bow has been working you over for 2 months, glad to see you get through it and make it look as good as it does. The stave came from a VERY dead tree Clint's grandpa had a tree stand in many decades ago.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Nice story to go with it. That one needs to hunt.

Great job wrangling a bow from that stave Paul.  I knew you would be able to do it.

Pearly is right about the history of that wood.  It was from a tree that my grandpa love to hunt out of decades ago.  The tree slowly fell over.  The remnants of his wooden stand are long gone.  Only the steel spikes and stained wood remain.

Wow I love that profile.  Awesome little bow no matter how it got there! I bet it's smooth to draw.

Thats awesome Paul, way to stick with it. If anyone can wrangle a bow out of a questionable piece of wood it's you. I totally second what Bubby said.

Great bow and great story. Good that you did not give up and made a beauty in the end!
