Would have liked to let him hang awhile longer but figured I had the chance to cut him up yesterday and didn't know when I'd get a chance again. I finished processing my second selfbow buck and put some back straps on the grill. Oh yah, those are so good. The whole family loves em, but they taste especially good to me.

I just had deer steaks fried in butter and olive oil, double pepper.

smiles and yumms. :)

That's mean!  Poor little critter will waste away to a mere shadow of her former self, and blow away like dust in the wind! >:D (lol). We had fresh deer liver and our dogs were right there for their share!
