Walnut Bark Quiver - Glenn St. Charles style

I've still some smaller pieces bark around, cherry also, will give them a try too.

The bark is about 6-8 mm thick. The tree had about 25-30 cm diameter. It got cut in summer - was easy to peel off. The inner side of the bark is really nice, almost black and very smooth.The quiver  is very stiff and you can barely twist it.

The Maple bark is only 3-4 mm. I don't think there is anything around here with thick enough bark. We don't have any of the standard hardwoods.
