7 inch blad PICs

<< < (2/3) > >>

cowboy:
That's a killer blade flecha! Just love it! Now you need to haft it to a stick and go stab something ;D >:D.

mullet:
Very nice! ;D I like it.

flecha:
Yeah, it's snow.  I'm grateful for it, but ready for green grass.  In February the long range NOAA forecast was for a warmer than normal spring.  As luck would have it, it is still snowing.  We're supposed to get another 12-18 inches today, above 8,000'.

I hafted one of these blades with milkweed cordage and pine-resin when I was a kid.  I grew up in Oregon, where it rains once in a while, and wanted something to carry with me that would handle the moisture.  I used it when the neighbor's dogs would chase me >:D

Sparrow:
Nice knife ! Looks like you got you a good bunch of glass buttes,I really like the stuff too. Frank

flecha:
Yeah, I love Glass Buttes stone.  It is hard to beet the homogenous techture.  The only stuff I've found that comes close to touching it is from the Malad, Id. area.
