This started out as a six inch slab. Large cracks on both ends caused me to work it down to about 3-1/4" before the first flute took a half inch off the tip. The second flute terminated perfectly to a paper thin point so I am really happy about that.

Awesome 1442. Can you show pictures looking down base towards point? I'm thinking those have to be so thin. :)
