any interest in a kith this summer? (names have been drawn)
Mr. Woolery:
1442- those blades are truly beautiful. I am so excited to see which one you end up choosing. Of the three you showed on this topic, I could not pick one as preferable to the others. They are all just fabulous.

Mr. Woolery:
Bubby - that handle is gorgeous!
I love that this exchange is giving people the reason to make something just to enjoy making it. I know I was happy to do a knife that I didn't feel like I had to make to a pattern with the hope of finding a customer. I made what I felt like making, knowing that what each of us was going to trade would be an example of our own aesthetic.
I think I'll just consider myself part of every future kith, as long as folks will still have me. It was fun to make the knife, it is inspirational to see what everyone else is making, and I love the low stress of it.

Mr Woolery.
glad you enjoyed the kith.
its supposed to be fun and low pressure.
bubby:
Thanks Patrick and Kevin. Wish I knew what the wood is, I bought an old burl clock for three bucks for the wood. I cut the best parts into bowl blanks for my son to turn. The wood has a sweet smell when working it
