I'm sure enjoying looking at the progress pics.
I'm doing a stock removal process blade, and tried this piece that had some ancient flake removals off of one side.
It seems a little soft in the lighter colored areas though so I will most likely set this one aside and try another piece of stock or two or three before I decide which one to send.

That is a beautiful blade! I love the swirl of lighter color in it. Stone blades are so pretty and you make such nice ones.

Updated progress. Bevels ground profile done, blade is flattish lol next step drill holes for the pins.

got to the forge today and got some rough work done.
