2019 Arkansas State Longbow Championship/BowJam

(1/3) > >>

Bob Barnes:
The Traditional Bowhunters of Arkansas are having their annual State Longbow (and Selfbow) Championship August 31~ Sept 1, 2019. We will also be having a small BowJam beginning Wednesday Aug. 28, and lasting through Sept.1. There's free camping with showers. The weather should be nice and the facilities are outstanding.

Hawkdancer:
Bob,
That is one busy weekend! And the closest archery thing is the flight shoot at Bonneville, only 500 miles away from home!  I got 3 other events within 50 miles!  See you at MoJam!

lebhuntfish:
I'm going to do my best to make it this year! Thanks again for reminding me Bob!
I'm not sure when I can get there but I'll do my best to get there for Saturday and Sunday.

How's the camping situation? Tent camping? Can I camp next to you guys with a camper?

Patrick

Bob Barnes:
there are about 20 camper sites with electricity and water, plus lots of room for tents...and SHOWERS.

Bob Barnes:
I know most of us wood bows and glass bows...It looks like Roy Hall/ Navajo bows will be coming...he's a great guy.  Terry Hughes that made the Arkansas Stick Bows, selfbows as well as glass bows, will likely be there since he is one of our members.  Maybe we can get him to do a 'build a bow in an hour with a hatchet and rasp' demonstrations...  :OK
