Over 55-60 pounds for western hunting?

Exactly. We use no less than 55# over here. After a few years of that I prefer something around the 75-80# range these days. But that’s my personal preference for bull elk and heck even black tail. And my heads went from 135 grains down to 70-90 grains along with a heavier tapered shaft.
