Ideas for balancing quiver

On my muskrat quiver I put a rivercane shaft inside and attached my strap to it. You could maybe do the same and leave the shaft longer so it sticks out of the hide a few inches and attach your strap further ahead that way.

Thanks for the input guys. I shifted the front strap point and it hangs far better now.
Don’t know why I didn’t think of moving the strap.
I woulda hoped there first time killing her was enough. I guess after a long nap she was ready to wander again.

I just did this one a little while ago. It was really made mostly for display but I like how it balances out. I also cut two narrow strips of deerskin and Flemish twisted them for the strap. Kinda seems to help keep it from slipping around.
