what do you do with your off-cuts?

I keep trying, and failing, to have a big clear-out of bits of timber too gnarly for bows and/or too short for billets but just too nice to burn - you know the sort of stuff you convince yourself will be useful one day but wont really  - but then I made a really nice crossbow out of some wood in my burn-it pile, so maybe one day it will be useful....None of my lumber is more than 3" wide and it is all round-wood, so, what do you do with your off-cuts?

I've made a couple of bows with 2' billets by "V" jointing on tips and anything longer than about 6" can be used for risers. Knotty chunks make nice risers. I have a spot behind my bandsaw that I throw usable stuff into. Anything else I just drop. When I can't stand comfortably/safely at the bandsaw I have a little fire int the pit. In the summer if there's a burning ban on the pile can get a bit big.

Tool handles, pieces to glue on to build up a handle, tip overlays and burn pile.

mullet:
Spoons, cast iron pan scrapers and handles like Eric's.
