First heat treat! Great results!

Today i did my first heat treat. nothing special, just 4 hrs at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The results were amazing! i could thin peices that i couldn't before and grainy stuff is now waxy. Its amazing!

Congratulations!  What method did yo use to heat?

i put flakes on a tray and stuck it in the oven at 400deg F for 4 hrs, i went very basic.

Very Basic until a stone with a little moisture blows the door apart on the wifes oven :o Bob

yeah, i thought about that. I found a toaser oven for 1$ on craigslist. i dont expect too much but ill check it out.
