Does wood type affect tuning?

I bump up in spine for extra heavy arrows opposed to light arrows, usually 5# or so.

JW_Halverson:
Sitka are only about 10% heavier on average than POC, so you are getting pretty close to the same all around.

Yeah, it seems like the slight weight difference won't matter too much for tuning...that's the assumption I'm going on.  Now, when I start building arrows out of African blackwood, I'll probably have to take it into consideration...   ;D
