Ryan 'ol pal, you've done it again! That baby is SWEEEEEET!
Of course, I expect nothing less from you.
You gonna sell it, or can I expect to shoot it in a few days?
Oh BTW, that mystery wood I sent you was called Dark Red Meranti.

Cool bow, Ryan..,especially the handle. I've always had bad luck with locust but I'm rough on a bow.    Pat

Thanks Guys.
Shannon, na I don't expect to sell it. At least not by then anyways, looking forward to see ya'll. Meranti ? ah, still don't know what that is.....lol.  ;D
Pat, I've had bad luck with it in the past some as well but I've also made a few exceptional bows from it. I think the key is to slightly over build with it and tiller very slowly because it will fret at any slight hint of a hinge.
Hillbilly,  ;D thats funny.
Its November, I'm gone hunt'in.......

That's a good looking bow Ryan...although from what I've seen you loss your capability to make a bad bow long before I ever knew you. :)

Great bow! BL is definitely a little less forgiving with mistakes made during tillering than others. Really cool to see you utilize the characteristics of the stave in the design.

It's just amazing what a little salt water can do :D  Gotta love that grip Mother Nature provided. Creative skin work on the belly..Black locust as well..Very fine as usual..
