Removing a sight from used bow

I am considering purchasing a used bow from a local  vidmate mobdro word counter bow shop. A Bear Kodiak Magnum. The previous owner installed a very old sort of pin sight by drilling into the front of the riser. One screw is in the middle of the riser slightly above the sight window the second screw is further up the riser, not into the bow limb, in the riser taper area. I have zero desire to shoot this bow with this sight, will removing it and filing the screw holes with fiberglass resin or something compromise the integrity of the bow?

As Jeff says no fiberglass on here but to give you an answer - no it won't make any difference removing them. Drilling the holes in the first place was the problem!

Like bownarra said, just fill the holes in with epoxy.

I have filled sight holes in bows by using a match stick and epoxy. I try and stain the end of the match stick as close as I can with the wood that it is going in to.
