More of a big wooden spoon really.  Had a big piece of apple-wood, bent at a big knot and heavily fractured where I had cleaved it and it had got stuck at the knot.. Spent a few hours with carving axe, gouges and a shinto rasp.  Fun little project.  The heli twist works well in making it all more comfortable to use. Its about 18" long, finish is sunflower oil.

I have a lot of people wanting me to make them a spoon from their property. Seems like everybody wants one from Apple. That is some hard wood to hand carve.
