Here's my Christmas Tree. Some assembly required. It's more like arranging flowers than putting up a tree. Sometimes the Scrooge in me wishes I just had a artificial tree.

Assembly complete and lights on. Now everyone else can put decorations on.

I glued a piece of Black Walnut and English Walnut together for the button and clamped it in vice overnight.

Then I cut a grove in handle for tang and tapered end of handle. It fits nice with handle lined up straight with blade. That's all for tonight.

It's not glued yet. Just a dry fit. Hopefully tomorrow I can glue button on, shape it and finish halvting blade.
