Old Knives Reborn

<< < (2/3) > >>

JEB:
Looks good Eddie.

I find a hand full of those old carbons knives while yard sailing thru the summer months and take them to the Flint Ridge knapin and sell them for $5.00 each. I never pay more than a dollar for them and only buy the carbon knives.  Guess I will have to take one and try doing what you do and re-finish one.

mullet:
I do the same thing. I've been saving them up to sell at the Rendezvous coming up in January.

Hawkdancer:
Nice work!  I got a couple in the garage waiting for new handles, just have to find my round tuit!

Pappy:
Nice Eddie, love fixing up old knives also, them look great .Pappy

Mr. Woolery:
There is so much beauty in the old blades. Every bit of the wear and patina tells a story. I love knowing that there are folks like you who see it and make handles to really bring out the stories in the blades.

Thanks for sharing!

Patrick
