Rivercane shaft Obsidian point
TimBo:
That is a really colorful arrow, point included. Nice work!

Thanks everyone. I don't think these fletchings are falling off. They seem tight. I have lost a couple from the cane before though. Could have been my glue. I do usually scuff up the shiny rhin .

A decorative piece like that and flies good is a gem. Good luck with your hunt next season.

Thanks Chief

--- Quote from: bjrogg on January 20, 2020, 01:05:12 pm ---I got the rivercane from a trade with Trapper Rob. I really like this stuff for arrows. Straightens nicely and seems to stay straight.
Got the Obsidian as a gift from Paulsemp. A pretty piece of tri flow Obsidian I knapped into a nice hunting point.
I halved it onto the shaft with a little jbweld and white tail sinew.
I have a bit of trouble getting glue to hold fletching on these rivercane shafts so I spiral wrapped them with white tail sinew.
Love the arrow! How does it fly?
This one is going in my hunting quiver.
