Well, kudos for trying, Tracker.   ;D  On one of the first deer I ever killed, I grabbed it by the tarsal glands when I was dragging it, got the stink all over my hands, and cut out the backstraps and tenderloins before I realized my mistake.   The meat was...strong.   :o

Moral #1 - drag deer by front legs or antlers!  Moral #2:  don't taint meat with musk, scat or urine! (lol)

Great story and I’m sure one you won’t forget. I’m liking your girlfriend and I’ve never meet her. Seems like a keeper.
I’m so happy my wife likes wild game and helps me put it up. Not sure I could get her to try bobcat though.
