Forged broadheads
Handforged:
I make these from time to time at the forge, I call them a bodkin plus. These are forged from 52100 round bar stock, heat treated and tempered to take an edge like a razor blade but they are stout enough to shoot through a brick wall. I decided to make another half dozen of these today and thought you folks might appreciate a pic. It's a relatively simple design that just works.
Handforged:
So far I have taken mule deer, elk and black bear with these.
Mesophilic:
Looks good, and stout enough to get the job done.
What's the weight on these?
Handforged:
they weigh about 9.5 grams or 150 grains each.
Trapper Rob:
Nice work
