Nutter points

Postman:
I was reading the "how many arrows"  thread, and Have a strange feeling I'm playing straight man for a coupla dozen folks, but here goes.....

what's a "nutter" point?
 ??? ???
I think I might hesitate to ask for pictures....But they might be useful!

Pat B:
Postman, I love a good straight man so here goes. >:D
OK here are a few pics of nutters I have made.  What I do is add a taper to the arrow like for a field point, screw on a nut and add super glue to the threads and shaft tip. The glue is optional but strengthens the tip so I do it. ;)    Pat

Nice!
A little penetration and a lotta whollop.......Can't wait to make some for bushytails this  october. Sooner if my bird feeder keeps getting assaulted >:D

I've had good success with a mixture of vaseline/cayenne on the feeder pole, though!

Pat B:
Bird seed robbers are what I use them on mostly. I might have to try the vasoline/cayenne mixture.
The good thing about nutters is you do get some penetration along with the whollop. These things are devastation on skirlz!  ;D     Pat

recurve shooter:
...bet they would turn the easter bunny into easter dinner rather efficiently to. >:D
