Advice on a Yew flat bow

So to be clear, to bend the handle, I’ll rasp it down to size, then I imagine I’d steam the entire mid section of the bow for a long time - like 30-45 min, and then what?

Do I put each limb around the handle on blocks or something and clamp the handle down? It’s that sort of the idea?

Just straightened it again with dry heat and oil. It’s good for now.

I’m going to continue to work it, and see what happens. I’m at a 70” bow now and plan to make a shorter hunting bow. I’m used to a 66”, is that generally pretty good for Yew? Or should I consider shorter?
