I made a new chopper from a tool we used mostly i
Before the 2000's when they harvested Willow shoots to give body to our dike's. The tool is still sold new and is called "hout hiep" here. I did buy It as a chopper/small axe but i didn't like It. The blade was too high and It sounded like  smacking a soup spoon against a tree. First photo is the hout hiep and the second picture is what i made from It, its way lighter now and you can chop faster with more "penetration"
