New Knife

(1/2) > >>

mullet:
I did a trade with Handforge for a period correct 1700's knife and I have to show it off. The attention to detail amazes me.

Pat B:
Very nice knife and sheath, Eddie. Brian makes some nice forgery.  :OK

KHalverson:
Eddie
that's sweet.
your potted tomato looks good too.

mullet:
Thanks, Kevin, it goes real good with the hawk you made. The tomato bush has 4 tomatoes so far.

Handforged:
Thanks folks, I appreciate it. Making it was easy, making "look right" was the hard part.  Blades of that era were made in a specific way, left certain tell tale marks and a definite patina. It takes a little doing but I have held enough of those original knives in my hands to be able to replicate it fairly closely. I really like messing with the period pieces but like I told Mullet, I fuss over them too much sometimes.
