4 dogwood arrows

(1/2) > >>

Swampman:
I had 4 broadheads that came on some old cedar arrows I bought at an antique store.  I really like these broadheads and felt they should be put to work so I built 4 red osier shoot arrows for them. I built each arrow one at a time and fletched with turkey feathers split, ground and chopped.  The total weight of the arrows range from 685 grains to 725 grains.

I really liked building them one at a time.

Pat B:
Very nice dogwood arrows but they will need a bit of red on them next fall.   One at a time is how I build shoot and cane arrows.

Swampman:
Thanks Pat.  I do plan to paint these arrows red this fall.  Hopefully that will work out.

Hawkdancer:
Nice!  Maybe, add a makers mark of some sort!  And of course, natural red this fall!

Sagebrush:
Strong work.  4 fletch offset???   Those should get stained in September.   Good luck!!!
